tion of the act passed the 20th April, 18-2, en
titled “ Yn net to authorise the Seen tary of the
Treasury tnexchange a Stock bearing an inlet •

April, one thousand eight hundred and
twenty-two, this cause came before the Court,
on a Mandate from the Hunotable the Supreme
Court of the United States for further proceed
ings. Whereupon it is ordered and decreed—
That the holders of Notes of the late Hunk of
the United States, bring them in for payment
at the late Ranking House of said Hunk in the
city of Philadelphia, befqrc the eleventh day of
April. A D. 1823, and that on thnt day this
Court will make a final Decree Tor Distribution
of the funds reserved in the hands of the de
fendants for payment of said Notes j and it, is
further ordered and decreed, that the Clerk
cause this order to be published in one public
newspaper in each of the ibllowiug places, to
wit-Philadelphia, Roston, New-York, Haiti-
more, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, and New-
Orleans, nt least once ajveek, for nine calender
months, before the said eleventh day of April
next. A true copy.

Laurel Hill Toll-Mill.
GTOHE fall-Mill on Mrs. Ancrum’s plantation
il has hern completely repaired lately, and ia
now ready to work as well as any other mill on
the river. The rough-rice that will be sent to
the mill will be kept separately in dry anil safe
V ores, and shall behest with the utmost care
and economy, and the barrelll will be always de
livered in good order Empty barrels, made of
prime hoat( vl staves, will be furnished at the
mill when required. The terms for cleaning
Rice will he the same as at the other toli-milis,
Those planters who will engage to have their
crops beat at that mill, and keep her supplied,
will have 200 tierces, or as much Icsa as they
please, heat at one turn. Applications concer it-
ing the mill, to be made to Archibald Urebncr,
on the plantation, or in Savannah, to

the snid cause, reside without the limits of the
District of Georgia: It ia ordered, that the said
John flaalett, William S. Gillctt, Samuel Yates.
John Rogue and Andrew Low appear at the
term of this court to bo hidden at Savannah in
the term of December next, to answer to the
plaintiff’s on the merit* of their sui<l petit on, 1
and that a copy of tins order be published in

man Lutheran Church at Ebenezcn stating
that the auid John Freyermuth cm the fifteenth
day of April, eighteen hundred £» fifteen, mort
gaged liy deed under seal tn the petitioners, u!|
those trucis of land, containing three hundred
acres in Effingham county, state aforesaid, on a
small creek adjoining Judidiuh Weitman Kelly’s
and Garrison's landi also another filly acres, sit-
ualcd and being in the district of Fbcnezer,
bounded by land of Prior Arnelulf ft F. Break-
ners-'ut the time of survey grunted to Landfel-
der ( also,another tract of land situate in the sev-
enteelh district of the county of Baldwin, con
taining two hundred and two and a half acres,
known by llie number (104) one hundred and
utir, with the appurtenances, to secure the pay-
mentof n bond or obligation of the said John,
bearing dale llie day and year aforesaid ii pray
ingthe foreclosure ol'the said nioitgage. It ap
pearing to the Court that there is now due on
the said bond and morlguge the sum of two Imn
di ed dollars, with interest at six per cent, from
the fifteenth day of April, eighteen hundred &
eighteen. On motion of Wayne and Cuyler, at
torneys of the petitioners, it is oVdereil that the
said John Freyermuth, his heirs or represents,
lives, do pay inlo Court the amount tine as a-
fore-said within t"8lve months from this date,
otherwise that the equity of redemption of the
said John and his heirs, in the said mortgag'd
premises, be foreclosed, and that such lurtner
proceedings lake place as sre by law directed.
It ia further ordered that this Rule be puh

publication} no manuscript, snd few printed
copies were ever retained» and in many cases
these productions were forgotten by the author,
until recalled to his mind by 'lie public prints,
which have often gratified him hy flattering
notice} but which have also frequently amov
ed him hy nmlilaiHiiis, which were extremely
mortifying.
The last consideration has inclined him, dur
ing several y curs, to attempt the proposed col
lection, ii order to correct the errors of others,
and rest upon his merits or demerits.
Disinterestedness is not pretended} the an
i hop confesses that a liberal patronage would
afford to him much pecuniaiy relief \ and he i»
the more encouraged to expect thin, from the

The author confide* in the tried zeal of his
friend* throughout the Union, for the pVomotion

the responsibility and punctuality of subscrib

This volume will be neatly executed, and is
aue from the press as nooii as possible, ut the
price of One Dollar—with usual commission to
agents.
Proposals deposited in Philadelphia, and with
