Palmetto, which is celebrated for its extraordi

doubtedly daiim against them, which, when
finally liquidated on the decision of the suit
now pending, they will try to-satisfy as coon aa
possible thereafter.
The deeds under which Hr Christie claims
an exclusive right to all the real and personal
i-r.ate of Carnochan A Mitchel, are considered
as informal, unjust and illegal. Hence they
have been brought and are alul before the court,
und other deeds have been executed and re*'
corded, conveying the property for the uae of
ill their tfteditors, 'Mr Christie included, with
out any trust or reservation beneficial to C. £/
M, or their families 1 and if this bo not agreea
ble to that gentleman, it must nevertheless ap
pear fair and equitable to the publio and. all who
have a sense of justice.
# The Trustees under the late deeds are am-
io'ui to sell the Lands in Florida, alluded to ta
\hc notice of Mr Christie* and to apply the pro-
fceeds to the immediate payment of part of bis
ilemand, and deposit a sufficiency thereof to co
ver all hia claim, subject to the decision of the
court—but his opposition to any reasonable sale,
-is one interested in his own right, whilst «i\jur*
ing all parties concerned, must be borne until a
sale can be made under an order of court.
