Rule Nisi,
In the Inferior Court of Chatham County,
.July Term, 1831.
U PON reading the petition of the Central
Bank of Georgia, stating that the" State
of Georgia was possessed of a certain Bond
dated the twenty-ninth day of January, in tho
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eight, signed by George Baillie, Joseph
Bryan? anil Charles Harris, hv which said
bonil they bound themselves to his Excellen
cy Jared Irwin, tho Governor and Coinmand-
cr-in-Chicf of the said State, in the penal
sum of eleven thousand seven hundred and
seventy-eight dollars, and seventy-five cents,
to ho paid to the said Jared Irwin and his
successors in office, conditioned for the pay
ment to tho said Jared Irwin, Governor as
aforesaid, or his successors in office, of tho
sum of one thousand nine hundred and sixty-
three dollars, and twelve and a half cents, on
jhe first day of January, in the year eighteen
hundred and nine—the same sum on the first
day of January, eighteen hundred and ten—
and tho same sum on the first day of January,
in the year eighteen hundred and eleven, and
declaring that by force of tho Act of the
legislature, passed on the 22d day of De
cember, 1828, incorporating the said Bank,
it has bccoaio the proprietor of said Bond,
and also declaring the loss of the said Bond,
and that tho debt has never been paid. It is
ordered that the said George Baillie, and the
legal representatives of the said Joseph Bry
an and the said Charles Harris, do shew
■caupc at the next Term of this Court, why
the paper writing annexed to tho said peti
tion, and stated to be n true copy of the said
Bon'd, shall not by order of this Court, be ta
ken, adjudged and established as a true copy
in lieu of said original Bond. It is further
ordered, that this rule bo personally served
on the parties, if tube found within the State,
and if not, then this rule shall ho published
in some public Gazette in the State, for the
space of threo months.

best thanks for the pntronuge bestowed
during the long period helms bffen before the
public as the founder and keeper of" Oyster
Hall,” and solicits its contmunnco at bis new
establishment, just opened with ronotrpd ele
gance and increased accommodations, in An-
dtfsvt^s three-story brick buildings, corner
of Dray ton-street and Buy lam*. He pledges
himself that no exertions shall bo wanting on
his part to retain the reputation of his house,
numerous improvements having been made at
considerable expense, with an eye to the com
fort of his friends mid patrons.
Oysters opened, in tho shell and pickled
and cooked in every possible way, served up
at a moments notice.
Also, Venison and Beef Steaks, Game mid
Relishes of every kind, hot and cold, prepa
red with equal despatch.
The wines and liquors arc warranted to ho
