Smith at Huggins a few Sunday, ago and has been in hiding since that time, came in to day and gave himself up to the offi cers. He was given a commitment trial before Judge Patterson, who au thorized a bond of f700. Conger was accompanied by a number of hie Worth county friends, who readily made the bond for him, and he re turned homo this afternoon. Conger and Smith are both prominent young farmers, and have been the best of friends. Their difficulty at Huggins occurred while both men wero drink ing heavily. Smith was shot through the abdomen, and for some time It looked as If ho would not recover. But his physicians have recently pro nounced him out of danger.
