The car started before she bad gotten off, which caus ed the mis-step. Surveyor Hutchinson says he has more work than ho can do In a month or so. He says there has never been so many safes of land, so much laying off of lands and lots, so much building and other evidences of activity us at the present time. Mr. Charles F. Clark accompanied Mth. E. C. Turner and Mr. Tom Tur ner to Ocaln last week, but all have returned to Valdosta. Mr. Turner went there for hi* health, but found that Valdosta’s climate is about as good as that of that part of Florida. The government's appropriation for a public building at Valdosta Is $125.- 000, which will build a very nice build ing. but hardly as nice as Uncle Sam will wish he had built before much longor.
