Fire at the Strickland Mills.
There was a fire at one of the cot
tages at the Strickland mills Wednes
day night at nine o'clock, the alarm
being given by the incessant blow-1

The ceremony was performed at
the residence of the bride’s father,
at 3:30 yesterday afternoon by Jus
tice T. ,M. Cook, who accompanied
the groom from this city, and the
marriage was witnessed by relatives
and a few intimate friends. The

evening and will reside on Rogers
street.
The bride is a very attractive
young woman, and Is a member of a
substantial family. Mr. McIntyre
has served on the police force here,
both as a regular and as a special
ofllcer, and he has many friends
throughout the county, who will con
gratulate him on drawing such a fine
prize from the matrimonial lottery.
