It Created Some Interest Among the Savannah People. 8avannah, Ga., April 20.—The an nouncement made in the afternoon papers of the state yesterday that John Temple Graves had withdrawn from the race for the United States Senate excited interest In Savannah, although it cannot be said that It caused much surprise. But little has been beard of Mr. Graves’ race In this section of the state. Senator Bacon hae many friends In Savannah and the flrst Congressional District and there has never been any doubt as to how this district would go In the Senatorial race. ' There has heen much more Inter est In the race for governor than In that for senator.
