Savannah, May 2—Now that the

has as yet made no dates In any of
the towns of the northern part of
the state but he will do so in a short

On a Charge of Lunacy.
Mr. Macon W. Hewitt went to the
Court of Ordinary yesterday and
asked that a writ of lunacy be taken
out against his wife. He said his
wife was crazy and that being pro
ficient in the black art she let her
spirit enter his breast every night
and this caused trouble. He was de
bating with the Clerk of the Court
of Ordinary whether it would behest
to have his wife arrested for lunacy
or Just crack her neck.
While Hewitt talked Mr. Moline,
the clerk, wrote and when he finish
ed his document he turned Hewitt
over to a deputy sherlfT to be tried
for lunacy. The paper he had been
working on was a commitment for
the unfortunate man who thought
his wife w’as insane. Hewitt will be
tried In ten days.
