Have Kept Their Wedding a Secret
Until it Leaked Out Yesterday.

Tho secret marriage of Mr. S. M.
Ruff, of this city, to Miss Myrtle
Hammond, a daughter of Mr. Will
Hammond, leaked out yesterday af
ternoon.
Tho couple were Joined In wedlock
by Elder A. V. Simms rn a ceremony
which was performed In frout of the
Primitive Baptist church three weeks
ago. last night, lu the presence of
the daughter of Mr. Maunls Ham.
The couple went to the ordiuary's
office for the purpose of having the t
