Last Sommer I had a severe attack of Inflamma

The Misses Lewis Entertained Fer-
rell-Dalton Party Last Evening.
Last evening immediately after re
hearsal, another charming entertain
ment was added to the many already
tendered the Ferrell-Dalton wedding
party, in a buffet luncheon given by
the Misses Lewis at their elegant
home ou Patterson stret.
The house was prettily dec<
pecially the dining room the
scheme being pink and green,
center decoration of the handsome
mahogany table was a heart of pink
roses nnd smllax. Garlands of sml
lax, surrounding the entire table
caught up at the corners with large
pink satin bows, completed the at
tractive picture the table made with
its cut glass candelbras and bowls
filled with tempting delicacies. Most
unique favors—bon bon boxes in the
form of dainty brides pink slippers,
roses with n bisque head peeping out
of centers, violets nnd chrysanthe
mum bouquets—were . presnted to
each guest.
The toast to the bride was given
by Miss Pearl Lewis and each drank
champagne to her future health and
happiness from the loving cup. De
licious fruit punch was served by
Miss Helen Lewis during the entire
evening.
The Misses Lewis, always charm
ing hostesses, left nothing undone to
make the occasion so delightful as
to long be remembered by each for
tunate guest.

to congress this week has had the ef
fect to seriously hamper the sale of
menu In Valdosta. While some of
the butchers claim that It has had
little or no effect, the fact remains
that canned goods are not selling at
