2. The name of the railroad com
pany for which petitioners thus seek
Incorporation, is to be the Valdosta,
Moultrie & Northwestern Railway
Company, the same not being
name of any existing railway corpo
ration in the state of Georgia.
The length of said road, as
nearly as can be estimated, will be
thirty-eight miles.
Said .road will run from Valdosta
Lowndes county, Georgia, or
($100,000) dollars, ana the right
similarly decrease said capital stock 1 some point near thereto, in a north-

made their application for a new
road commencing at the Hahira town
limits and running by Hattie Law-
son, Mrs. H. B. Lawson’s, G.
Jones, et al to near D. W. Passmore's
place and whereas commissioners
appointed for that purpose have re
viewed and marked out said con
templated road, and reported to me
that said road will be one of much
public utility and convenience. Now
this Is to cite and admonish all per
sons that on and after the 1st Mon
day In August, 1906, said new road
will be granted If no good cause Is
shown to the contrary.

will be Introduced at the next ses
sion of the Georgia legislature, to be
entitled an act to amend an act es
tablishing a board of commissioners
of roads and revenues of the county
of Lowndes, to define their duties
and for other purposes, approved
December 11th, 1871, as amended by
an act approved August 20th, 1872,
so as to Increase the number of com
missioners from three to five, to
specify the districts from which they
shall be elected, and for other pur-
posts.

Whereas, certain petitioners have
made their application for a new
road, commencing at the old Nelson
place, now W. S. Fender place, run
ning the road straight to the Double
Brldgea and whereas, commissioners
appointed for that purpose have re
viewed and marked out said con
templated road, end reported to me
that said road will bo one of much
public utility and convenience. Now
this Is to cite and admonish all per
sons that on and alter the 1st Mon
day In August. 1906, said new road
will be granted If no good cause Is
shown to the contrary.
