aghast that laws, made for the ad

Here then are fields for the reform

it Is my privilege to make as a Judge

Let us here and now reconsecrate
ourselves to the task of enforcing
our country’s laws, and though they
are made to protect the public treas

determine controverslee which arise
under the constitution and laws of
the United States, If we establish

of our brethren who perform similar

public welfare, may quioken their ac

determination to enforce the laws of
our beloved state, "dear to us as tho

The stock of cut-glass fine crockery,
Jewelry and diamonds was never so

here alone have bought over fifty
thousand dollars worth of fine goods
for the holiday trade. These stocks
embrace many novelties in Jewelry,
and also thousands of dollars worth
of diamonds.
Tho toys that are on the market
this year aro said to be of a higher
class and more expensive than have
been seen before in this city, show
ing that the prosperous conditions
have put it info the heads of the peo
ple to buy expensive goods.
Tho merchants here report that
many out-of-town shoppers have been
here during the past few days and all
havo expressed themselves as gTeatly
pleased with the goods that are in
the stores hero. Huge bundles of
goods are sent to every out-going train
for parties who have been here to
trade, while all of the merchants havo
received many orders for goods to be
