With Drunken Negro.
(From Wednesday's l>aily.)
Messrs. Mallory Welch and Hairy
Houston had *n' exciting experience
Sunday afternoon, while driving the
former’* automobile. The youi g men

and when near the 8onth Georgia

from the sidewalk and waved his list

sponse to the signal but a& they did
not see any horse In the road did
not stop. As they came nearer the
negro pulled a plRtol from his pocket,
and cursed them saying “’et’s see if
they will run over this.”
Messrs. Welch oud Houston turned
around and cwne to town by another
route, and secured a *hot gun. They
went back to the scene of the trouble,
and hunted up the negro, whom they
disarmed. They took two pistol* from
him which they turned over to Mar

An old sore or ulcer is only a symptom, an outlet for the impurities aed poisons
which are circulating in the blood, and as long as this vital fluid remains in this impure

thus it goes on, sometimes for years, continually growing worse, and slowly sappirg

There are many ways by which the blood may become contaminated and poisoned.
A long spell of fever, or other sickness, breeds disease germs in the system, the failure of
nature’s eliminative members to remove the waste and refuse matter of the body, the exces
sive use of minerals in certain diseases, all infect the blood with morbid matter and germs,
which sooner or later manifest their presence by a sore or ulcer which refuses to heal
under the ordinary treatment of salves,
