Death of Mr. W. A. Davla.
Hr. W. 'A. Davla, an aged citizen
of the Old Redland district, but for
merly of this city, died yesterday eve
ning after an Illness ot some time
He was sixty two years ot age and had
t-ilo- N> ecn 1° declining health for a long
1 time.
He spent most of his life In this
county and, for a long time, was
track-grower near here. He brought
hie products to this market And was
well known to nearly everybody here.
His son, W. 4. Davis, came here this
morning after the coffin in which his
remains will be Interred at Mount
Zion cemetery.
The deceased Is- survived by a son
and daughter, ble daughter being
Mrs. Mary Arnold. He was a quiet
dtlien, a good neighbor and his death
is regretted by all who knew him.
