The proximity of Council Bluffs and

Congress to attend the other. The eltl-
los of Omaha and Council Bluffs are
very clore. It Is only a, matter of
four miles from the centre of Omaha
to the centre of Council Bluffs. A
ten .minutes run by trolley makes
good accomodations. The programs
of the two shows have been so ar
ranged that visitors may participate

case of Charles Edward Davis on
trial for the murder of Dr. Frederick
Ruatln this morning returned a ver
dict of not gnllty. They were out
fourteen hours.
The state tried to prove that Dsv-

own request after the latter bad an-
tered a suicide pact with Mrs. Abblo
Rice.
The woman testified that she and
Dr. Rustin agreed to kill each other,
but her nerve failed.
Dr, Rustln^was shot and killed

lows. Today, in his cell In the Cook
-county jail, the man whom the po
lice deelare to be a worthy rival ot
H. H. Holmes and Johann Hocb, could
hear the workmen setting up the scaf

die tomorrow. There appears no
chance now for Bllllk to escape his
fate. The murderer himself appears
resigned. Since the death-of Ms ag
