It Is quite likely that a charter
will be applied for In a-short time
for a new railroad from Valdosta to
Monticellp. Fla. Several dtlsens
were talking about It- this morning
and they agreed that It was the best
railroad proposition In this section

above Rocky Ford, then going

he removed to Sarasota. Fla., on tM
advice of his physicians, living sh
open-air life, and ministered to by
his loving wife snd faithful friends.
But he steadily grew worse: and by
flrst of February he realized
that he could not live. He had no
fear of death, but wanted to live for
the sake of his wife snd babe. His
passing was *> beautiful as the fa
ding sway of the morning star into
brighter light of day: snd so
mourning of his loved ones is
tempered by the sweet memory, of
beautiful life, end th# confldence
