THE VALDOSTA TIMES, VAMMJjfcTA, GA, SATURDAY, Jl’hY ill,
PROPERTY RETURNS THIS YEAR ARE $561,959
MORE THAN THEY WERE LAST YEAR.
(From ihursday's Dally.)
Valdosta’s numerous errors, and
a streak ot bad look which hung on
like grim death, was lbs undoing,
ot the home boys In the game with
Quitman at Pine Park yesterday af
ternoon.
Quitman brought a good bunch.of
players over, and the fact that only
about tuto or thornier* Quitman
boys, didn't detract from their abil
ity to smash a ball. They had every
j advantage In weight and age, and
[the Valdosta atripllngs who went up
' against them were outclassed ln|
those respects at least.
