of one of the South’s most important problems—Good
Roads. Judge W. F. Bve, of Augusta, will .speak, as will
General Evans. Gov. Joseph M. Brown will be there.
President Taft Day
Thursday, November 4th, will be immense. President
Taft will pause in bis 13,000 mile swing around the
country to speak at tbe Macon Georgia State Fair to tbe
thousands of men, women and children who will throng
to hear, him.

Bridegroom of Two Days Chose
Sure Means of Death
Thomaevlle, Ga, OcL 8.—Though a
bridegroom of but two days, John
Epencer Gay, formerly of Colquitt
county, calmly lay down In front ot
a ruahlng passenger train on tha
Atlantic Coaat Una track near here

Southern Railroad hag ordered eighty
eight new electric lighted coaches
The Pulman Company will complete
twenty-five of tho new coaches by
the last of the month and win re
ceive from the Barney ft Smith Car
Company twenty-five coaches within
tbe next thirty day* The new coach
es will he delivered from time to
time and will greatly Improve the
service throughout the South where
the Southern trains run.
