We know of no other medicine which has been so suc-
cessful in relieving the suffering of women, or secured so
many genuine testimonials, as nas Lydia E. Pinkham’s
'Vegetable Compound.
In almost every community you will find women who
have been restored to health 'by Lydia E. Pinkham’s Veg
etable Compound. Almost every woman you meet has
either been benefited by it, or knows some one who has.
In the Pinkham Laboratory at Lynn, Mass., are files con
taining over one million one hundred thousand letters from
women seeking health, in which many openly state over
their own signatures that they have regained their health by
taking Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound.
Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound has saved
many women from surgical operations.
Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound is made ex
clusively from roots and herbs, and is perfectly harmless.
The reason why it is so successful is because it contains
Ingredients which act directly upon the female organism,
restoring it to healthy and normal activity.
Thousands of unsolicited and genuine testimonials such
as the following prove the efficiency of this simple remedy.

Other things cure fever besides Johnson’s Tonic,
but nothing else can make the same splendid cures
that the Tonic makes. It is one thing to be enred
TEN DAYS and quite another thing to be cured
ONE DAY.
It is one thing to get np out of a sick bed with
the loss of 20 pounds in weight and quite another
thing to get up so quickly that there is not the loss
an ounce in weight. •.
It is one thing to return to your
the life and vim and vitality
and quite another thing to
and energy for the day’s battle.
' i'.
It is one thing to pick up life’s burden with
sallow cheek and a .shambling walk and a dull eye
and quite another thing to pick up the same burden
with a rosy cheek and a bright eye and a light heart.
Ob, yes, there is a world of difference between
one kind of a cure and the Johnson’slcure. A whole
world of difference between the feeble cures made
by sweet Fever remedies and the Johnson cure. f'A
world of difference between the 30 days quinine enre
and the 24 hour Johnson’s cure.
Now take yonr choice. Use the thing that will
cure in hours instead of days. Use the thing that
WILL CURE or the thing that MIGHT CURE. Use
the thing that calls for weary days or wretched
heart-breaking watching by the side of a sick bed or
the thing \hat means’ back to work, back?to play or
back to lessons with the coming of a new day.
Take your f’choice. iThat is tbe difference
between every other fever medicine we have ever
seen or heard’of and the incomparable and matchless
medicine which we make.
Yours very truly,
The Johnson Chill & Fever
Tonic Company.
MORROW, LA., July 11,1901
Dear Sirs: I wish to call your attention to the
wonderful merit of Johnson’s Tonic. A son of Mr.
F- W. Cason, of Rosa, La., nine miles below this
town, had slow, continued fevter. The fever lasted
four mouths. The doctors could do nothing and the
patient gradually grew worse and weaker.
Finally I persuaded them to try Johnson’s Tonic.
They tried one bottle, giving two teaspoonfuls three
times a day without stopping the fever. I told them
to double the dose * (as directed on the bottle), which
they did, and in 12 honrs the fever left the patient.
They continued giving the Tonic and in a short time
he was as well as he ever was. But for Johnson's
Tonic he would certainly have died.
Yours very truly,
G. G. SCOTT.
