Atlanta, Jan. 26.—In his nual report not yet published, state Treasurer J. Pope Brown will pre sent figures to show that Georgia's banks bave gained twelve million dollars in 1210 over 1909, and that the general financial prosperity as reflected In the banks, ha s Increas ed In proportion to those figures. The total assets at the end of the year 1910, for all the Ibanks In Georgia la fixed, according to the state treasurer’s report, at 9120, 220,244.81. The figures show that there were 625 banks existing la Georgia at the end of 1910, com pared with only 487 during 1909. At the end of 1909 there were 487 banks Including fifteen branch es. During 1910 three branches were added, at Omaha, Newington and Tarrytown; 62 new bank* were chartered .Including branches at Benson, Bartow, Duluth and Jenk- lnsburg, and one trust comany be gan a banking business.
