The petition of G. A. Baker, L.
Culbreth, B. G. Lastinger. and J.
G. Cranford of said County and
I'.iate respectfully shows to the
. Court:
1. That they desire for them
selves, their associates and successors
to be Incorporated and made a body
politic under the name and stylo
of the Georgia Realty Investment
A Operating Company, for a period
of twenty years with the privilege
of renewal at the expiration of that
time.
2. The prinolp.l office of '<ald
company shall be In the city of Val
dosta, County and State aforesaid.
Petitioners desire the right to eata'h-
lish branch offices within this state
or elsewhere whenever the same
-may he beneficial or necessary to
the Interest of said company.
3. The object of said corpora
tion Is pecuniary gailn to Itself and
stockholders, and the business to
be carried on by said oocpoiation Is
that of buying and selling any and
till kinds of property, particularly
buying, selling, holding, lmprov.ng
or developing real estate. Petition
ers desire the right to buy or sell
options upon lands, timber and tim
ber lands; they desire the right, al
so to own and operate saw mills
and to manufactore lumber and other

ity to buy, lease, rent, mort
gage, encumber and otherwise
use. own, enjoy and dispose of
the stock, bonds, security and
obligations of other corpora
tions; and to lsand bonds or other
evidence of indebtedness and to^bor
row or loan money unon note, bond,
deed, mortgage, or other obligations,
either with or without real or per
sonal security to act as agent for
ether persons or corporations and
charge a reasonable compensation
therefor. Petitioners desire the
right and authority to enter Into
eo-partnersh!p with other persons or
corporations.
4. The capital stock of 6ald cor
poration shall be $15,000.00 all of
-which has been subscribed and ten
per cent, of which has been paid In,

the right and authority to Increase
the capital stock of said corporation
to a sum not exceeding $600,000.00
by a majority vote of the stock
holders of the outstanding stork at
such time, or by a majority vote of
the Board of Directors of said cor
poration, providing the stockholders
at any meeting have conferred this
power upon the Board of Directors,
said Increased capital stock to bo
divided Into shares of $100.00 each.
