The body of Emory Flanders, for merly s Valdosta boy, wbo was kill, ej at Palatka, Fla., on Sunday, was brought through Valdosta Tuesday morning on tha way to Brunswick, where It will be Interred. Young Flanders was run over by a locomotive In tbe Palatka yards of the Georgia Southern and Flori da railroad, whera ha was acting as a switchman. By the cruelspt Irony Of fate It so happened that hla'own father, bfr, W, E, Flanders, an en gineer on tbe Oeorgls Southern ar.d Florida, was driving ‘.he locomotive which took the boy’s life. The reports of tho accident state that young Flanders was riding cn the pilot of tbe locomotlre, and that In attempting lo go from one sldo to the other he slipped and fol) to the track. Both of bis legs were severed and be never rallied from the shock. The accident occurred on Sunday morning and the yonng man lived until about < o'clock that evening.
