Intvre ns preceptor, a gentleman of considera
ble experience in that business, aud whose testi
monials furnish indubitable evidence of the ex
cellence of his moial character, of his general
worth as a man, and his superior qualifications
as a teacher. In this institution will he taught
all the branches of Eiiglifh, Classical and Mathe
matical instruction which arc usually comprised
in a course preparatory to admission iuto the
Sophomore or Junior classes of collego. And
while the literary and intellectual courses of stu
dy will bo diligently encouraged, wo feci assured
that proper atteution will bo paid to tho moral an J
physical education of youth committed to his
