B R. PETERS, Professor of Medicina Phi-
siologiea, or Philosophical Medicine, for
merly of the city of New Yoik, and more recent
ly from New Orleans, respectfully auuouuccs his
location iu Milledgeville,- and offers to the public
his frofessional services.’
For several years past, his inquiries have been
especially directed to chronic or inveterate dis
eases, particularly Scrofula aud Liver complaints,
with very honorable success. Ho invites persons
afflicted with what they consider iucurable dis
ease, to give him a call. Those unable to do so,
will'be tvaited upon- at their respective places of
abode, by request Persons who may wish his
opinion relative to the nature of their ailments,,
ate apprized that no charges will he made, unless
they actually place themselves under his care.—
Those wishing to avail themselves 7 of Dr. P’s.
Medical skill, will do well, to apply soon, as he.
pronoses visiting Europe early in the spring. Ii.-.
P’e. charges arc moderate.

dyspepsia and Silver Oomplmt.
Among tho symptoms of Dyspepsia und Liver
complaints are, flatulency, sourness or burning in
tho stomach, melancholy, irritability, disagreed- ]
ble taste in the mouth, great irregularity of appe
tite, which is sometimes voracious aud at oilier
times greatly deficient; thirst, fetid breath, nau
sea, weakness of the stomach, acid eructations,
palpitation, drowsiness, irregularity of the bow
els, pressure on the stomach after meals, pain in
the head, dizziness or vertigo confusion of mind,
attended with loss of memory, a gnawing in the
stomach when empty;.chilliness, affection of sight
arid hearing, pain and weakness iu the back,
languor, disturbed sleep, cold feet and bauds, tre
mor, uneasiness in the throat, cough, pain in tho
side or breast, &e. Tho above maladies lead to
organic affection of tho stomach, liver and heart,
terminating in Dropsy, Consumption, Apoplexy,
&c. according to the climate, habits, age, sex, and
temperament of the patient.
Dr. Peter'.; Malkina:, Slomachkot and Hcpat-
ica, for the cure of Dyspepsia and Liver Co.m-
PEAIHTS, has stood the test of experience, and
; proved more efficient than any remedy heretofore
discovered in curing those distressing physical
and mental maladies. These Medicines do not
contain the least particle of Mercury or any ingre
dient that does not act in harmony with health
and oppose disease. Th y arc elegant prepara-
ations, perfectly pleasant to take, and the same
food and drink may be used, and employment
pursued, as would be proper for the patient were
he not uuder their influence. Frequently one
parcel of the medicine is sufficient for the cure of
1 a patient. Directions for use accompany each
parcel. Any person sending live dollars will
have one parcel forwarded to him at the expense
of the proprietor, and by sending twelve dollars
willrttievS three parcels. To those who have so
earnestly solicited him to place his medicines in
the hands of individuals residing in different sec
tions of the country for sale, he would only say,
that so long as patients receive them direct from
his Dispensary, they are not liable to be imposed
on by a spurious article. A quantity of the a-
hove Medicines have been recently prepared and
are ready lor use. Applicants who have hitherto
been disappointed can now te supplied, if early
.application' be made.
..To heal tlic sick—to comfort those that mourn,
