BOAT CHARLESTON, Capt. John
Bonnell is added to the line to ply constantly du
ring the season between
DARIEN* & SAVAltfPJAH.
The addition of this fine Boat ensures the
greatest despatch to Cotton shipped by this line,
by avoiding long detention at Darien and re-
shipment on Sloops which is liable to be very
tedious when the winds aro adverse.
The Stcr.m Boat Pioneer, Capt. McCormick
will bo continued on the river to tow up the freight
Barges from Darien.
The subscriber hopes that his arrangements to
facilitate transportation between Macon and the
Sea-Ports, will meet with encouragement.

Situated immediately on the river, having a good
wharf attached thereto, aud very safe from fire.
For the convenience of their friends residing be
tween the- Ocmulgeo and Oconee rivers, they
have taken the large and convenient Ware House
recently erected by Mr. G. B. Wardlaw, iu East
Macon, which from its peculiar situation, is ren
dered quite secure from the danger of fire, and
from whence Cotton will be taken to the wharves
free of charges. Each of the subscribers will re
side in AIncon the ensuing season, aud promise
their unremitting attention totho interest ofthose
who may favor them with their business nnd
confidence. Liberal advances will be made on
produco, merchandize and other property confi
tied to their care, and strict attention given to the
filling of orders, rcceivirg nnd forwarding goods

this line, when taken in connexion with the
increased, and constantly increasing facilities of
Steam Boats, aud other conveyances, on the
waters of the Altamalia River, render the trans
portation of merchandise and produco between
New York. Macon and Millegovillo, and a large
portion of that section of Georgia lying west of
the Oconee River, cheaper and more speedily than
by any other route—and it is confidently expect
ed that the advantages afforded to the public by
this Line of Packets, will ensure it a continuance
of the support which it has heretofore received;
and justify the increased expense which the pro
prietors have been at, in athliug to the Line the
tine Brig, Amelia Strong, now on her first
voyage.
