THE LULL ACADEMY.
THE Trustees to tiie above
Institution take pleasure in an
nouncing to the Citizens of
Monroe, and the adjacent
counties, that they have suc
ceeded in engaging the profes
sional services of Mr. and
Mrs. Cleveland, present Rec
tor and Rectress of the nude
aud female department of tiie
CuHodensville Academy, for
the ensuing year.
The Hill Academy will open lor the reception of
students on the 2d Monday, in January next, in which
will bo successfully taught the mixed and solid Branch
es of an English and Classic Education-; and as we
have limited this Institution to a definite number of stu
dents, parents and guardians will do well to avail them
selves of an early opportunity in entering their Chil
dren and Wards.
.Mr. & Mrs. Cleveland bring with them a well earned
reputation, combining moral worth, indefatigable in
dustry, superior discipline, and unquestionable ability,
with every requisite calculated to inspire ns with a con
fidence, that tiie Semiuary must succeed even under
ordinary circumstances.* But when we reflect that
this Institution is pleasantly situated in the midst of a
dense population, one mile from the road leading from
Macon to Forsyth, 17 miles from the former, mid 7
from the latter place, ill a neighborhood distinguished
for health and line water, and whose moral character is
surpassedby none, remote from alt the vices and immor
alities common to towns and villages, together with the
convenience of Boarding with respectable families
near the Academy. We flatter ourselves the Ilill A-
caderny will vie with any institution ofthe kind in the
Southern Country.
N. B. Terms of tuition the same as with other re
spectable Academies.
