T HE above company take this method of inform
ing the public that they have purchased two
Steam Boats, the
MAcoar. and sxesa;
which boats are to run regularly between Darien and
Macon, leaving Darien once every week, with tow boats.
. The steamboats will draw only 26 inches qf water, with 2
good engines iu each. The company have been to a
great expense to place this Line of steam boats on the
Octunlgee aud Altantaha rivers, and would respectful
ly solicit the vatronage of the public. This line will lie
a great facility for merchants who,wish to ship their
goods by the way of Savannah or Darien to Hawkins-
ville anil Macon, or in shipping cotton to Savannah.—
Arrangements liave been made to forward cotton or
goods without detention between Savannah and Dari
en. No exertion or expense wilt be spared to give the
greatest despatch to goods or cotton shipped by this
line. - _

The subscriber had for nearly two years a scrofulous
ulcer upon the knee, covering a surface at times as
large as her hand. It was so severe as to confine her
to the house nearly the whole of that time. She used
1 many remedies in vain, and began to despair of ever
getting relief, when she fortunately tried The Indian's
Panacea, and is happy to state that four bottles healed
it entirely, and she has remained perfectly well to this
time, nearly a year.

quitable distribution ofthe unexpended balance of the
said two hundred and fifty thonsand dollars to l>e made
among the claimants, in proportion to the amount

In all cases when a cure is not effected no remune
ration will be required. The fact, that many cures
having been effected in the county of Warren, from
whom certificates have been exhibited, together from
all the Physicians in the above county, render any
tiling further unnecessary to be said at this time.
Robt. IV. Stewart may he seen and consulted at
Brown’s Hotel, MilledgeviUe, from the Oth to the 14th
instant; in Macon, at Dr Ball’s office, till 21st Inst.;
in Knoxville, Crawford county, till 26th instant; in
Perry, Houston county, till 31st instant; then in Ma
rion, Twii’gs county, till 5th March ensuing, then to
Mjlledgeville again. He expect* to continue the same
round during the winter and spring months, and at
tend regularly at the same time and place ; any altera
tion in the above will be made public.
