ved to Charleston. S. C., in the application of Dr.
Slagner’s Patent Truss.
Tn all cases when a cure is noteflectcd no remune
ration w ill be required. The fact,’ that many euros
having been cfiected in the county of Warren, from
whom certificates have bocri exhibited, together from
all the Physicians in tho above county, render anv
thing further unnecessary to he said at this time.

.Macon, leaving Darien once every week, with tow boats.
The steamboats will draw only 26 inches of water, with J
good engines in each. The company have been to a
great expense to place this Lille of steam boats on tlie
Ocnnilgee and Altauuiha rivers, and would respectful
ly solicit the patronage of the public. This line will be
a great facility for merchants who wish to ship their
goods by the w ay of Savannah or Darieti to Hawkins-
ville und Macon, or in shipping cotton to Savannah.-—
Arrangements have beeu made to forward cotton or
goods without detention be'tween Savanuah and Dari
en. JVo exertion or expense will be spared to give tho
greatest despatch to' goods or cotton shipped by this
line.

The sail.-.(.Tiber’s whole attention is devoted to facili-
tatinir transportation between Macon and the tiea
Ports. He lias invested a large sum to put his lino in
the most complete order, and believes that his arrange
ments for giving despatch to freight and keeping it m
good order, while in his clire, will make it the interest
of Cotton Shippers and Merchants ordering goods, to
continue their favors.
At Darien he has secure and convenient Warehouses
for reception of Goods.,and his
Wharves there are covered
with sheds,
which.enables him to keep all Cotton shipped on his
Boats under shelter and protected from tlie weather,
while landed for reshipment.
