A\ E the pleasure to return their most grateful

merit by the prompt attention to all cotton or goods
shipped by the Line. In addition to the Steamboat Ex
cel and their tow boats now in use,
I lie Company have now building a new Steamboat,
with ten new tow boats, all of the best materials and
expressly adapted to the navigation of the Ocmulg
and Altamaha rivers. These increased facilities will
afford the Company the means of giving despatch to
goods intended for the interior, and will furnish in
ducements for merchants west of the Ocinulgee river
to ship their goods by the way of Darien and Macon.
There are five first rate Packets running regular be
tween New York and Darien, which come to Hawes
and Mitchell, tlie agents for the Macon Steamboat
Company.

that one of the vessels shall always he at each end of
the line taking in freight, and will sail regularly about
once in ten days. Shippers may rely upon the vessels
being regularly despatched, and every facility given
that goods and produce may go forward at the least
