I HAVE taken the Clothing Store of Lewis I’itch. j

Clothing, Hats, Shoes, Boots, with almost every arti

cheap for rash as any other establishment in the up
Augusta chronicle for L»alc,
A NTICIPATING engagements which win mate
rially inter,‘ere with our present ones, after the
first of October next, wo offer the Ac oust a Chroni-
clk for sale, with possession at that time, and will uis-
, pose ot it on accommodating terms. It lias a very
i large subscription list, which for sonic time has been
larger than it ever was since we have had the control
of it, or probably before, during the previous l>9 years
of its existence—being the oldest existing paper in the
State, and the first, except one. ever established in it.
Its advertising patronage is also large, and the whole
establishment is now as prosperous and profitable as i:
lias ever been, and indeed more so. Its stock of print
ing materials, of all kinds, is very large and complete
—probably unsurpassed if equalled, by that of any oth
er similar establishment in the Cionth—and gentrai'y
new—the whole newspaper type and press hav itiit been
in use but a few, months—while the exceedingly large
and varied assortment of job type is as good as now.
A statement from the books, and the hooks themselves,
together with the printing materials, will he submitted
to the inspection of those who may desire to purchase,
so that each may judge for himself; arid we doubt not
they will satisfy examiners, that a similar amount of
capital can seldom be more safely A profitably invest
ed, in any way.
Editors with whom we exchange would confer a fa
vor, by publishing the above, which would cheerfully
he reciprocated.—Chronicle.
