AN A WAY from the plantation 01 James Flem
ing deceased in Monroe county, on Sunday the
th of July last, a mulatto boy. quite bright, with blue
eyes and sandy hair, supposed to be ubout 13 or 14
years of age, weighing between 7b and ob pounds, by
the name of FRANK or FRANCIS. Said boy was
brought from North Carolina a few years past by a
speculator, and lias often threatened to return there
when he slunild grow up. It is believed he is endea
voring to pass off as a free white boy ; buthe would he
easily detected if questioned.
