ty of the new Town, laid out on this river, at Shot-

One tract containing 1000 acres, lying immediately
on the west side of the Flint liver, two miles from
Shot well’s Ferry, known as the Indian Philema town,
100 acres of which are open and in cultivation; a

except a few acres, can he cultivated- Also, near the
above, another body of land of 1003 acres, of which

.Mill and Cotton Gin on it, and sufficient for a Saw
Mill in connection.

ville, chiefly oak, hickory and hnmmoc—80 acres in

600 acres near the Kinvhepong, known a* the In-
diau Canard towus ; 100 acres in cultivation, an ex
cellent house and other out buildings.
Several other tracts of firstquality land, in qnanti
tics of from 202 1-2 to COO acres in different parts of
the county.
The above lands are all well supplied with springs
and water courses; several Saw and Grist Mills are
already in operation, and others beiug erected.
