(on Flint River,) situate at Sliotweil’s Ferry, Lee
County. The stage road from Augusta to Nevv-Or-
leans, via Florida, passe* through this place; also,
tlie state road from Columbus to St. Marys; the Rail
Road from the Ocmnlgee to tlie Flint river, will be
laid through the coutre of this town. The location is
too well known to need further description. Plates

win, ou Friday, the first Jay of January next, within
the legal hours be sold at Tarversville, Twiggs coun
ty, between fifty-five and sixty Negroes, a large por
tion of them field hands, as valuable as any in the
State, and a valunble plantation, containing eleven
hundred and odd acres, lying on the waters of Shell-
stone Creek, iu Pulaski county, immediately on die
county line, of which six hundred acres are cleared,
aud afiout two hundred and fifty fresh first rate Cot
ton land, with a good Gin house and buildings suita
ble for such a plr.ination. The Negroes will be sold
on a credit of one and two years, with notes with ap
proved security and interest of one year on tlie sec
ond payui-.it. The land will be sold on a credit of
one two and three years, with interest on tlie last pay
ment. Every indulgence will be given to creditors.

tinue front day to day until all shall have been sold.
