PROFESSOR (IF PENMANSHIP k BOOK-KEEPING,
R ESPECTFULLY informs the citizens of Macon, that
lie has o|tened Rooms over the Book Store of Mr. J.
M. BoAttDMAX. on Mulberrydktreet. where lie will be bappy
to receive pupils and visitors, and guarantees to impart to
all, in 12 or 18 lessons, his highly appreciated system of
mercantile and epistolary Penmanship.
Ladies are .taught a neat and beautiful epistolary, and
Gentlemen a free, bold, and expeditious business band
writing.
Mr. McH s system is formed from a practical experience
of five years in one of tbe first Literary Institutions in New
Ymk. and he has no hesitation in asserting, that it is differ
ent and superior to any thing ever practised in ibis city; and
respectfully solicits from the public an hxamthation of, not
only his own, but also of bis pupils’ specimens, to prove the
truth of bis assertion.
To any who are acquainted with the science of Double-
Entry Book-Keeping, it is unnecessary to say, that the prin
ciples upon which it I* based, are so unerring, and the rules
by which it is governed so infallible, that the accountant
who adheres jlrictlJ to tbtse principles, cannot possibly err
I in ltis practice
Mr. McH. lias so simplified bis' svst, m of Book-Keeping,
as to rentier it on easy and delightful study, and now, in
stead of devoting years oflabor tn gain a correct knowledge
of this highly important useful science, the student may be
thoroughly qualified in a very short time to keep the Books
of the most extensive establishment, and that too, with but
little real study, as Mr. Mcli’s. method of instruction is
chiefly by explanation and example.
Rooms open dsy snd evening. Gentlemen will meet in
