as 1 lately was, the account of my unexpected, and even for
u long time despaired of care. Mine is a painful.story, ami
trying and sickening as is the narrative of it. for the sake of
many who may be so surely relieved. I will briefly yet ac
curately state it.

dresses around the waist. Next followed upon my limbs,
ulcers painful beyond description. For years, both iu sum
mer and winter, the only mitigation nf my sufferings was
found in pouring upon tlioie parts cold water- From my
limbs the pain extended over my whole body—there was
literally tor me no.rest, by day nr by night. Upon lying
down, these pains would shoot through inv system and com
pel me to arise, aad for boars .together, walk the house, ao
that I was almost entirely deprived of sleep. During this
time the Erysipelas continued active, and the ulcers enlar
ged, and so deeply have these eaten, that fur two and a half
year*«bey have been subject to bleeding. Daringybese al
most twenty years 1 have consulted many physician*. These
have called my disease—as it wan attended with an obstinate
cough and a -tesdy and active pain in my aide—a dropsical
consiimpsiuu ; and though they nave been skilful practition
ers, they wet q only able to nflord my case a partial und tem
porary relief. I had manv other difficulties too complica
ted to describe. 1 have also used manv of die mrnctne*
that have been rec -miuended as infallible cures for this dis
ease. yet these all tailed, an-1 I was most emphatically
growing worse. In this critical condition,given up by friends
aud expecting fo: my sell relief only in death. I was by tile
kind interposition -if Piovidetire. furnished with your, to
me. invaluable Sarsaparilla. A single boule gave me an
assurance of health, which for twenty yenrsj bad lint once
felt. Upon taking the second niy enlargement ‘itiminisbed,
and in twelve days from the 6th of October, when i com
menced taking your Sarsaparilla. I was able to eirjoy "sleep
and rest bv night as refreshing a a any I ever enjoyed when
in perfect "hea'lit. Besides, I was in this short time, relie
ved from all those excruciating and mialleviated pains that
hail afflicted ray days, as well as robbed me of my night's
repose. The ti'cers upon my limbs are healed, the Erysi-
pelassrared, ft my aixe reduced nearly to my former meas
ure.
