0.irwu, a O., Sept. 90. 1839.
J. J. Mams, Eaq.—Dear Sir.— I have very great
pleasure In writingyou. touching the effect# of your
Super-Phosphate of Lime on our Cotton crop. Hav
ing tested It against four other preparations. I find
the appearance of the plant ia most hopeful and
promising, as regards a large and remunerating
yield. I feel certain yonr manure will give from
one hundred, to on© hundred and thirty pounds of
Cotton more than sny other preparation per acre.
It ia a remarkable fact that no Rust U seen in the
plant where your Manure baa bee ” ,V^ ed ,’
others show Bust more or less, and this Is especial
ly the case where Guano has boon .
And last, t hough not least, as regards the Planter 1 a
interest. I feel certain that Cotton from Super-Phos
phate will Weigh Much Heavier than from anyeth-
er preparation, in this particular. 1 hoDwraTPbo*-
phatesare destined to worktliep-eatestp^sible
revolution in the Cotton-growing States of the South.
The plants look moat vigorous and
being rix foot high, and bolding from eighty to one
hundred and tanlloUs, oacb stalk. n\ns
I am, very truly, n. LOMAS.

Dr. Bronson having been so far reduced by. con-
sumption, as to be considered beyond sll hope of re
covery by the most eminent of the medical profes
sion, and also by himself—a regular phy.ician of
twenty year* practice—as a last resort, conceived
the ides of ANALYZING THE BLOOD, and apply-
ing the subject of physiology to the more immediate
connection, and effect of the state of the blood upon
the health and system. The result has been the
production of this "BLOOD FOOD,” from the use
of which Dr. Bronson was restored to perfect health.
Within six months after its introduction, over two
thousand consumptives were effectually cured by it.
If you have auy complaints of a consumptive ten
dency. Cough. Cold, Headache, Palpitation of the
Heart, Lota of appetite or psiu in the side, lose no
time in procuring* bottle of the “BLOOD FOOD.”
If you are suffering from Nervous Debility, or your
sleep is*broken^and disturbed, ifyour Spirits are De
pressed or your Organa relaxed, you will find in this
an unfailing remedy, by commencing with tin
Duors. If your Liver is torpid or diseased in any
manner whatever, one or two buttles will be sure to
invigorate, and bring it into lively and healthful ac-
tiou. Iu the most inveterate casesof Dyspepsia, the
patient ere here find the most efficient and grateful
relief. A benefit ia always experienced after taking
oklt osc bottle. Iu Male or Female Complaints
and Weaknesses, the sufferer, after trying other
remedies in vain, may rest assured, that a certain
cure will result from the use of two or three bottles.
The .‘‘BLOOD FOOD" is effectual iu ail cases of
Eruptions, Salt Rheum, Scrofulas and other like
complaints. Pale mud emaciated children and a
-lulls are immediately bent fitted by its use. It gives
strength to the body, and color and beauty to the
skin. Physicians of sll schools are using it with
wonderful success.
