J. J. Mxrgs. Esq.—Dear Sir.— I have veiy great
pleasure iu writing you. touching the effects of your
Super Phosphate of Lime on our Cotton crop. Hav
ing te*to 1 it against four other preparations, I nnd
the appearance of the plant U most hopeful und
promising, aa regards a largo aud remunerating
yield. I feel certaiu your manure will give from
one hundred, to one hundred and thirty ponnda of
Cotton more than any other preparation per » c re.
It ia a remarkable faettbat no Rnatis seen in the
plant where vour Manure baa been u»ed. whUe all
others show Rust more or less, and this ia especial
ly the cast where Gnwio has been used
And last, though not least, as rrgards/he Planter’s
Interest. I feel certain that Cotton from Snper-Phos-
Iiliate will Weigh Much Heavierthan from anyoth-

uhates are destined to woik the greatest possible
revolution In the Cotton growing States of the8outh.
The plants look moat vigorous and luxurious, some
being six feet high, aud bolding from eighty to one
hundred and ten Bolls, each stalk.
