Glue.—Small conveniences for general tomily use are
often of more valne than what are called " great inven
tions." It is estimated that in the United States there
are at leaat five millions of households, in all of which
the annoyance at squeaking, rickety chairs, so tort tables,
etc.. Is constantly experienced, ana so long as furniture
Is in this condition there Is always danger of a

In presenting you with DR. EATON’S INFAN
TILE CORDIAL, we desire to state its superiority
over every nostrum that nurse orqnack has hereto
fore offered yon.
First, tt is the preparation of a regular physician,
who ia well qualified from much experience in in
fantile complaints to prescribe for them. Secondly
—It is entirely free from paregoric or opiate of any
kind, and consequently relieves by removing the
suffering oi your child, instead of deadening its sen
sibilities. -Thirdly—It is put up with great care, as
a comparison of it with any other article, for intan-
tile complaints willahow; the very roots from which
it is distilled being dug from the foreats under the
direction of Qr. Eaton, many of them by his own
hands. Fourthly—^It is perfectly hormicro ~i <-an
not injure the most delicate infant, and is a certain
curq and reliefin all the following cases, which is its
chief merit over every other preparation, viz:"
For *11 COMPLAINTS ATTENDING TEETH.
ING ; such na DYSENTERY, COLIC, Ac.; *1*0,
for sofleuing the gums and relieving pain. For reg,
ulating the bowels it is unequalled. For Cold in tho
Head it is a sure relief. For CROUP, the mdst fa
tal and trying ol diseases, it can be relied on • with
perfect confidence ; and being a powerful anti-spas
modic in all cases of convulsions or fits, we earnest
ly recommend you to lose notimejn procuring it.
Lastly—it costs so much more than other prepara
tions of the kind, that we cannot afford such long
advertisements os can those whose whole expense
is their advertising; for the 'same reason, it .com-
riiemls itself aa the most reliable to all mothers: Ig

quiry in regard to the Reese’s Manipulated Guano
aa a fertilizer—I am well pleased so far us I have
tested its use.. I applied abont IOd lbs. per acre on
land that was badly worn, and not of the best when
fresh. The product of the field where the Gnano
was applied is over 800 lbs. of seed cotton per acre.
The suns kind of land without the Guano produced
about -too lbs. per acre. My mode of applying the
Gnano waa by depositing itin the drill before bed
ding up the land, I have not tried its use on corn,
but nave no doubt but it will aueceed well. I shall
uso It pretty extensively on my next crop.

We speak in this matter “what we know,” after ten

fttlfllment-of what we hero declare. In almost every
instance where the infant is suffering from pain and
exhaustion, .relief will be found in fifteen or twenty
minutes after the syrup is administered,
. This lvauable preparation is the prescription oi
me of the most experienced and skillful Nurses in
New England, and has been used with never failing
success in thousands of cases. It not only relieves
the *hild from pain, but invigorates the stomach and
bowels, corrects acidity, and gives tone and energy
tothe whole system. It wil{ almost instantly re

We would say to every mother who ha* a child
suffering from any of the’foregoing complaints—do
ii«.t let your prejudices, nt.r the prejudices of others,
stand between your suffering child and the relief
that will be sure—yea, absolutely «uro—to follow
this medicine, if timely used. Full directions for
using will accompany each bottle. None genuine
