J< Payne is managing the business. Mr. Wade White, of Marietta, one of the members of the firm, has been long and favorably known by majority of »ur citizens, and it is needless for us to attempt to say more than that he is now enjoy ing a business reputation rarely attained. Mr. J. M. Stone, of Smyrna, is also connected with the business. These gentlemen keep one of the most complete stock of goods in town, consist ing of dry goods, notions, hard ware. etc. They are running the business on a s'rictly cash basis, and therefore are enabled to give tlieir customers the best of btrgains. Their st.ire is always supplied with flour, meat, coffee, sugar, tobacco,plows, plow stocks, hoes, rakes, pitchforks, and in fact anything usually kept in a first class country store.
