Lula was born Sept, nth 1864.
She joined the Baptist church at
Yorkville, August 1887: at four
teen years of age was baptised by
Rev. VV. P. Whitlow, and was a
consistent member, and attended
her church until Dec. 1890, she
was granted a church letter, and
moved with her father's family to
Snyder Texuf, and the 20th Sept,
1991 was married to Mr, Henry
Ramsey, a prominent march?ut of
Snyder Tex.! it was heart piercing
to the dear husband, as she was
only spared to bless and cheer liisl
borne six short months; after mar
riage Ltth always l ad a cheerful
and a pleasant smile, for all who
she met, she hua many friends,and
relatives in Georgia and had gain
ed the love and fiiendship of many
in Snyder, Notwithstanding h
hurt stay with them all was done
to restore her that physicians and
tender friends could do but God
had c. use to call her away.
She wrote to me a short while
after her dear mother's death and
-aid, Aunt Emma pray for us
little orphan, help me pray that xvi

pearly gates of heaven,

father and little sisters and broth
