Scott, execute a joint bond to tint said Susan C.
in the penal sum of four thousand dollars condi

ot Camden, being indebted to one Henry Sadler
or order in u note of Imnjd, dated St. Marys in
said county, on the 9th October 1822, in the'suin
ol Five Hundred Dollars, payable with interest

next ensuing, did mortgage to the said Henry his
heirs und assigns, to secure the payment of the
note aforesaid xvith interest on (he same—a cer
tain lot of land in the toxvn aforesaid being part
of lot No, 1 beginning nt the xvest corner of u
jot belonging to one Calvin Hayes, thence inn
ing south 100 feet on St. Murys Street, thence
north to Bryant St. east to C. Hays’ land thence

to the same on the south side of St. Marys or

sembled, and it is hereby ordained hy the authori
ty of the same. That nn ordinance passed the
thirteenth day of J anuary one thousand eight hun
dred and twenty one, entitled an ordinance to u-
mend an ordinance in addition to the Eire ordin
