the establishment of n certain promissory
note', jointly and severally made and signed
by William J. Mulryne. and William G
Portet, both late of said county deceased,
dated Effingham county, 13th February,
1824, payable to the saiu William Morel, or
order, on sir before the 1st day of January
next, for the sum of twenty five dollars.for
value received; a copy whetenf, with the
affidavit of the said William Morel, is filed
in the Clerk's Office,—It is ordered that
William King, of the County of Effling-
hatn, the acting and qualified administrator
of the slid William G. Porter, deceased,
and the heirs and representatives of the said
William J. Mulryne, deceased, do shew
cause on or before the (list day of the next
termol this Court, why the prayer of lire
petitioner should not be granted, and it is
further ordered that this rule be published
in one of the public Gazettes of the City

edge of tho plank next below the plank
sheer, to be in thickness two and a Half
inches.
Plant: Sheer—Of white oak, or yellow
pine in thickness two and a half inches.—
From the plank sheer to rail,the space will
be boarded outsideonly ,with narrow inch
white or yellow pine boards, fastened to'
staiincheons about twenty-seven inches a-
sunder, to have five ports on each side and
two in the stern with shutters. No plank
outside front the light water line upwards
(amidships) to he in width more than eight
incites. The fastenings of outside plank
from keel to one foot above load water
line, to be of copper. The spikes may be
composition. The bolts to be copper—
There will be no trendils, each strake to be
fastened to one frame (comprising two
timbers) with three composition spikes of
six inches in length (whhrc the plank is
two and one-quarter inches thick) and one
copper bolt five-eighths diameter, to lie
drove through and rivetted inside. Butt
bolts and liooder end bolts of copper in
diameter fire-eighths of an inch. Cicling
plank of yellow pine in thickness two in

Breast hooks.—Of live oak, two below

800 barrels of Pork, to be delivered at each
of the United States Navy Yards; Chiiiles-
lown, Massachusetts. Brooklyn,Nevv-York
and Norfolk, Virginia; and the tvhole quan
tity must be delivered, at each and every

The Commissions of the Navy are at li
berty to take the offers of a bidder for any
one Yard, or for the ntticles deliverable at
any one Yard; or it) greater proportions, if
