therein. This warehouse, for canvonionce
and safety from fire, if not superior, is in
ferior ni noho in this part ol tho country—
It is 300 foot in length and 50 feet in width,
with a plank floor—sltuatod in the centre
of tlio town, on tho hank of tho Savannah
River, and within 100 feet of tho stream.

one of 81) loot. Two platforms will ex
tend from tlio warehouse to the river ; so
that cotton will bo put on bouts without
touching the ground, except when tho riv

tied by water, and Is supposed to he ns
healthy ns nor pan of tho State; part of
tills is fine red land for wheat.

road from Covington to Mndisnn, 4 miles
Horn Covington. This is a beautiful le
vel piece of land, n handsome place to live,
within two miles of the fine flourishing A-
catlcmy of Jefferson; in a good miglihnr-
