T HIS establishment commenced ope*
rations for the season, the beginning
of this niomh, and having beat all the old
rice on hand it now in complete.order for
the inception of die new crop, haring plen
ty of room and separate bins for each lot.
Tlte mill will be kept going night end day
as soon at the supply will wgrrant it—It it
now ascertained that from 80 to 100 bar
rels can be cleaned in the 24 hours “ the en-
gitufanri machinery being first rate” to that
.planters sending rice to this mill may ..cal
culate within a few days when they can re
ceive it ready for market. The mill will
furnish barrels whenever required at 87 1-2
cents each, ond will land rough rice from
tho deck of vessels at half a cent per bushel.
The proprietors have erected on the premi
ses ar range of very secure & fin proof briek
buildings covered-with slate, for the urn.
