powers of this remedy.
Extract of Quinine. This Is tile resld
mint oftlie preparation of Quinine. Two
grains are fully equal to on* of the former;-!
and, as it is less than one third Ihe price, it
is of course much cheaper to the practitiou<
er tlian the sulphate. .
Citrated Kali, for extemporaneously
making the saline draught. One drachm
of this salt dissolved ib four ounces of wa
ter instantly forms the neutral mixture, e-
qual end similar in every respect to that
made from fresh lemon juice.
Black Oxide of Mercury,‘lot oxtempo-r
raucously forming the blue pill. One-
fourtli of a giaiu equal to four grains of
blue mass.
•■Solidified Balsam Copaiva. This pre
paration contains the Oil and Rgsin, and
is rendered solid for the convenience of
forming into pills. This ankle contains
ell the virtues of the Copaiva in a concen
trated degree.

in tho Land Lotteries of eighteen liun
dred and eighteen, eighteen hundred
end-nineteen, and eightcon hundred and
twenty-one, to take out grants for llm
lands thus drawn, and after the time'
therein specified, to vest tho same-in tlie-j
stare.
B Eitenactcd by the Senate and House
of Representatives of the State of
Georgia in General Assembly met, and
it is hereby cnaeled by the authority
the some,'That every person who was
fortunalo drawer in the land lotteries by
the authority of the acts passed on the fif
teenth day af December, eighteen hundred
and eighteen, wn Ihe sixteenth day of De
cember, eighteen hundred and nineteen,
ami on thn fifteenth day of May, eighteen'
bundled and twcnly-one. shall have until
the first day of November, eighteen hun
dred and thirty, to take out his, .tier or
'.heir grant upon paying into 4he Tree
•sury the sum of-eiglu-dollars.
Sec. C And be it further enacted by
the authority afuiesaid, Tiiat from and af-
ter.tlie first day «f November, eighteen
hundred and thirty,-ihe lands so drawn as
aforesaid, and not granted, shal I revert to
and became the property of the State.
Sec. 3. And he iffurlherenacteri, That
this tot shall not extond to any lot or lots
ofland drawn by orphans until three years
after the said orphans Shall have arrived at
the age of twenty one years; m-r to any |
lots drawn by idiots or lunatics or .persons'
who have 'departed this life since they
gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries
of 1818,'1819 end 1821, and whose total
arc unrepresented, nor to any lot<H|pi
her ten and one hundred set apart for t
purposes of pnblie education.
Sec. 4. And be il'furtlrer enacted. That
all laws and pans nf laws militating a
gainst litis act. be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Sec. 5. And be It further enacted by
tho authority afureiaid. That it shall be
(he duty of h is Excellency the Governor,
to cause this act to be punlished in all tire
public Gazettes oflhis State,once a month,
until the first -day of November next, and
that he cau.eihe expenses of such publics
