tions in this and Other cities, where the use
ofsarsapatillais required ton considerable
extent.

bin article in intermittent fevers.
This arllela differs essentially from the
soiuiopaquo, yellow crystals, obtained by
simple evaporation and purification of the
alchuholio solution,
Oil ol lllack Pepper, (Precipitated,) a
powerful stimulant and valunblo remedy in
typhus Inver, also ns an external stimulant
united with Decoction of Cantharidcs in
Spirit of Turpentine,—Caution. An oil
til black pepper may be found in the mar
ket, obtained by distillation—this is bv no
means tile smile as the article above descri
bed and is very feeble, if not entirely des
titute of tho particular property for which
Ills above tins been introduced. One
drop of oil of black pepper, added to six
grains ofquininei will greatly increase the
powcrsjif this remedy.
Extract of Quinine. This is tho resld.

and, as it is less Ilian one third the price, it
is of course much clieaper to the practition

Citrated Kali, for extemporaneously
making the saline draught. One drachm

ter instantly forms rite neutral mixture, o
qua! and similar in every respect to that
mnde from fresh lemon juice.
Black Oxide of Mercury, toi extempo
raneously forming the liluo pill. One
fourth of n grain equal to four groins of
blue muss.
Solidified Balsam Cnpaiva. This pro
paratiun contains trie Oil mid Resin, and
is rendered solid for tho convenience of
forming into pills. This article contains
all the virtues of the Cnpaiva in ir Concen
trated degree.

and nineteen, and eighteen hundred and
twenty one, to take out grants for the
lauds thus drawn, and after thn time
therein specified, to vest tho samo in the
stato.
B E. it enacted liy the Senato and House
of Representatives of the State of
Georgia in General Assembly met, and
it it hereby enacted by the 'authority of
thn same, That every porson who was a
fortunate drawet in the laud lotteries by
the authority of the nets passed on tho fif
teenth dav of December, eighteen hundred
and eighteen, on the sixteenth day of lie
cemlier, eighteen hundred and nineteen,
and on the fifteenth dav of Slay, eighteen
hundred nnd livgnly-nno. shall linvo until
the first day of November, eighteen hun
dred nnd thirty, to tuke nut his, her'm
•heir grant upon paying imp tho Trea
sury ilie sum of eight dollars.
