deceased, in his life time, together with
Ray Sands, of same county, to wit: on the
12th day of February 1816, being indebted
to the said Ethan, in the sum of eighteen
thousand one hundred and eighty dollars
for which they jointly and severally exe
cuted four promiaory notes of said Ethan,
bearing said due, one of which was foi the
sum of fntjr thousand two hundred dollars,
and payable 12th Feb. 1817, one other for
the sum of four thousand seven hundred
ten dollars, p.iyable 12th Feb. 1818, oile
other for four thousand four hundred and
ten dollars, payable 12th Peb. 1810, nnd
the 4th and lastnoto payable on the 12th
Fob. 1820, for the sum of four thousand
eight hundred and fifty dollars, together
