We would respectfully call tbo atten

veriisemeuts to bo found itt this issue.
Owing to the small amount of space
this week, wo have been compelled to
Hotve out several Advertisements and a
.portion of the reading matter intended
if.)i - ithis issue. In the future, however
we hope to have space enough to avoid
ssucli from occuring again and respect
fully a=k our patrons to look over it
this time.
On Wednesday, the 19th ofSeptom.
ber, we will enlarge the Sextixel from
twenty-four to twenty-eight columns.
When we took charge of the Sentinel,
as our readers are well aware, was a
very small sheet aud in a dilapidated
condition. By your liberal patronage
hearty co-operation and by straining
all the rneanes in our power, have, we
trust, made a better, more substantial
and a paper that our citizens can place
tbeir confidence in.
By oulargiug the paper we are put to
a greater expense in getting it up, conse
quently. the subscription [ rioo will be
increased to $2.00 instead of $1,50 per
auum.
