In the columns of The Herald a few
days ago there appeared a telegraph
dispatch from New York, containing
the news of the sinking of tlie United
States bark “Octavla" off the coast of

known*reBldent of Albany.
Mr. Mayer didn't notice the article
himself. One of his .friends from the
country told Mr. Mayer he had read

with him. Mr. Mayer inquired for
the partlcularsi and the friend told

Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy the
Best Made.
“In' my opinion Chamberlain’s
Cough Remedy Is the best made for
colds,” says Mrs. Cora Walker, of
Porterville, California. There j is no
doubt about Its being the best. No
other will cure a cold so quickly. ,No
other is so sure a preventive ot
pneumonia. No other Is so pleas
ant and safe to take. These are
good reasons why It shor'd be
preferred to any other. The fact
is that' few people are satisfied with
any other after hhving once used this
remedy. For sale by Sale-Dans Drug
