vict Camps in the State

Atlanta, Ga., March 6.—The entire
.standing committee on the peniten
tiary,' House and Senate, met here
this morning to arrange for an inspec
tion tohr of the state convict camps.
Owing to absentees, action was de
ferred to this afternoon’s meeting.
The committee will divide into sub
committees and tour the state for ten
days.. Most of the sub-committees
will leave here tonight for the camps.
One will go to Macon. .

view of an. overwhelming majority, of
the House Judiciary committee is that
neither life nor fire insurance is inter
state commerce within the meaning
of the constitution. The decision
means that Congress has no right to
regulate insurance companies
